DELIVERY INFO AND RETURNS
Please allow 5 working days for your order to be delivered.
We use APC for all alcohol non-local orders within Mainland UK. All items are usually delivered within 3 – 4 working days, although we endeavour to dispatch earlier than this where possible. Please see below for more information. APC will be provided with contact details to facilitate deliveries. Providing the “order placer’s” email address and mobile number is a requirement of using the webshop. An email address and mobile number of the person receiving the delivery is not compulsory but is desireable.
If the good’s recipient is not in when a delivery attempt is made the email address and the mobile number supplied to APC will be “carded”. Carding is a jargon term used within the courier industry with several interpretations. The courier may physically leave a paper card but it is more likely that APC will email or text the contact information they have been supplied with advising that a delivery attempt was made and supplying advice on how to re-arrage delivery.
When orders are placed with Mad Cat Brewery we ask for the email address and the mobile number from the order placer. We will use this information to facilitate deliveries. However when the order placer and the recipient are not the same person we also ask for the recipients email and mobile number. When these are supplied it is the recipient’s contact details which are shared with the Courier company.
Refunds will not be issued in the instance of an order being placed outside the conditions of the delivery parameters stated on the checkout page.
If your order contains alcohol, you will receive an email from APC when it is dispatched with details about how to track your parcel.
DELIVERY COSTS AND TIMES
Orders must be received by 12pm Monday-Friday to be processed the same day. Any item ordered after 12pm, at Bank Holidays or the weekend will be processed the next working day. Whilst we aim to dispatch all orders as quickly as possible, please allow 2 – 3 working days for delivery.
Orders Containing Alcohol
All orders containing alcohol are dispatched via APC, except those that qualify for local delivery (see below).
The delivery costs detailed below apply to an order of alcohol weighing up to 20kg in total. You can find details of the weight of individual items in the “Additional Information” section on the relevant product page. Orders weighing more than 20kg will incur an additional charge of £4.60 up to each additional 10kg

We regret that at present we are unable to ship alcohol to destinations outside the British Mainland due to the prohibitively high costs involved. This includes:
- Northern Ireland
- Scottish Islands
- Channel Islands
- Isle of Man
- Isle of Wight
- BFPO Addresses
- International Destinations
Orders Not Containing Alcohol
Orders not containing alcohol, such as clothing and merchandise, and weighing less than 2kg in total will be dispatched by Royal Mail at a cost of £3.10.
As they are delivered by Royal Mail, such orders can be dispatched to any location in the UK.
Orders not containing alcohol but weighing more than 2kg are subject to the same costs and conditions as orders that do contain alcohol.

FREE COLLECTION
Any order placed through our online shop may be collected from Mad Cat Brewery free of charge, where possible, by selecting “Collection from the brewery” at checkout. Such orders may only be collected directly from the brewery Monday-Friday (excluding Bank Holidays), 9am-5pm, and a collection slot must be booked by calling 01795 597743. The address for collecting goods is:

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU PLACE AN ORDER
As soon as you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email from Mad Cat Brewery Ltd. When the Goods are shipped you will receive another email from APC with a parcel tracking number when it has been dispatched. Please note that the tracking number included on this dispatch email may take a few hours to show in the courier’s system so don’t worry if it doesn’t show you the details of delivery immediately.
If you are not in when delivery is made APC will “card” you with contact details for you to arrange another delivery. (If your parcel is not delivered when you expect, we recommend using your tracking number to check if delivery has been attempted). Should further delivery attempts fail, the goods will be returned to us and a full refund will be issued to you, minus the cost of delivery. If you purchase Alcohol for delivery please refrain from asking Children to receive the goods for you. We aim to deliver to adults as far as possible. We aim not to deliver alcohol into the hands of minors.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
To return unwanted goods, the customer is liable for all return shipping costs except in cases where goods are faulty, in which case they will be reimbursed to the customer. Once the goods are received back at our premises, and in a saleable condition, a refund will be processed for the goods, minus applicable shipping costs, unless the return concerns faulty or damaged goods. Please return merchandise items in their original packaging to;

Customers are responsible for ensuring products are returned in a saleable condition. Any returned items which are received open, broken or past their Best Before date will not be refunded, except in cases where goods were received by the customer in a faulty state.

If an attempted delivery is obviously damaged, you are within your rights to refuse the order, at which point it will be returned to us. If you choose to do this, please contact us at info@madcatbrewery.co.uk and we will issue either a resend of the order if every item is in stock, or a full refund, whichever is preferable.
Refunds will not be issued in the instance of an order being placed outside the conditions of the delivery parameters stated on the checkout page.
We cannot accept responsibility for delivery failure if you provide an incorrect address and postal code or incorrect contact telephone number. Please check this information when placing your order.
As our online gift vouchers are issued as a code (sent automatically when placing the order) we are unable to offer a refund on these purchases.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
